The Client
The U.S. Open, hosted by the USGA, is one of golf’s most prestigious tournaments. With fans, players, media, and staff converging across several venues, the event spans multiple championships over a packed seven-day schedule.
The Challenge
The USGA needed a platform to manage credentialing and access for hundreds of thousands of guests. With multiple zones and venues in play, the system had to handle high volumes of wristbands, scanners, and scan activity without slowing down operations.
The Results
WRSTBND managed over 120,000 wristbands and 900,000 scans using 100+ access portals and handheld scanners. Our tech supported controlled access across all areas of the tournament, helping the USGA deliver a secure and highly organized event experience.
