The Client

ESSENCE Festival is a multi-day celebration of Black culture, music, and community in New Orleans. With performances, panels, and pop-ups across the city, the event draws hundreds of thousands each year.

The Challenge

ESSENCE needed a unified system to manage staff and artist credentials, attendee registration, and secure entry at 50+ access points, all across multiple venues and days.

The Results

WRSTBND issued over 38,000 staff and talent credentials, delivered 90,000 digital passes to attendees, and processed 175,000 access scans annually. Our platform handled credentialing, mobile pass delivery, and real-time scanning to support a complex, citywide experience.
